A Note from Jade
I've always believed that the way we care for ourselves matters.
When I moved from Korea to the United States, I was surprised by how familiar one thing felt: people were busy. No matter where we live, it seems we're constantly moving from one responsibility to the next, often leaving very little space for ourselves.
Over time, I became increasingly drawn to the idea of creating a different kind of experience — one that felt slower, more thoughtful, and more connected to the simple act of caring for ourselves.
In 2015, I began planning what would eventually become Nothing in Between.
From the beginning, my vision was to create more than a salon. I wanted to create a beautiful and welcoming space where people could pause, feel cared for, and reconnect with themselves, even if only for an hour.
Our name reflects what we believe. Nothing in Between is about removing unnecessary compromises. We believe self-care can be both effective and thoughtful, beautiful and responsible, elevated yet approachable.
Today, that belief continues to guide every decision we make — from the products we choose and the spaces we create to the people we welcome onto our team. What makes me most proud isn't simply what we've built, but how we've built it. With care. With intention. And with people at the center of every decision. My hope is that whenever you visit us, you leave feeling a little lighter, a little more rested, and a little more connected to yourself.
